This week, CIJA called on the Canadian government to cut funding to the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) due to its ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – designated under Canadian law as a terrorist entity. Canada provides millions of tax-payer dollars to the UAWC via a project run by the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization.

Registration is now open for CIJA's fifth annual Legal Conference, presented jointly with UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, Montreal’s Federation CJA, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.

Renowned speakers from around the world, including the Honourable Irwin Cotler, and Katharina von Schnurbein, the first European Commission Coordinator on combating Antisemitism, will explore the latest developments in how the legal community can work to combat antisemitism.
