We have all been moved by the extraordinary courage of the Iranian people.
Day after day, Iranian protestors risked their lives to demand an end to decades of repression. Hundreds of thousands took to the streets to challenge the extremist clerics of the Islamic Regime and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that sustains the regime’s grip on power—despite the grave cost. Thousands have been murdered, imprisoned, or tortured, simply for demanding fundamental freedoms and human dignity.
The people of Iran—and Iranian Canadians, many of whom have lost loved ones and cannot even reach their families—deserve our solidarity. Silence is not an option.
Urge the Canadian government to strengthen accountability for Regime officials committing human rights abuses, unequivocally condemn the massacre of Iranian civilians, remove and ban IRGC-linked individuals from Canada, and assist multilateral action to transition Iran toward a better future for the Iranian people.
