Noah Shack Named CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs


Ottawa, ON – June 27, 2025 – Today, the Board of Directors of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) is pleased to announce that Noah Shack has been selected as the organization’s new CEO.
CIJA’s National Chair, Elan Pratzer, issued the following statement:
“We are pleased to announce that Noah Shack will serve as the new CEO of CIJA.
“He assumes this role at a pivotal moment for our community, and he brings an extraordinary depth of skills, expertise, values, vision, and leadership to meet the challenges ahead.
“We congratulate Noah and extend our appreciation for his service as Interim President since December. His appointment as CEO by our Board concludes an extensive search process in which a range of candidates were assessed. We are grateful to all who put themselves forward for consideration.”

Biography
Born and raised in Ottawa, Noah brings extensive leadership experience to CIJA, including nearly two decades in the field of Jewish community advocacy, government relations, and public policy.
He first joined CIJA after it was established in 2011, culminating in his service as Vice President for the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario Government Relations. Noah later served as Vice President, Countering Antisemitism and Hate, at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
He holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
