April 27, 2022 – The Toronto Police Service (TPS) has published their 2021 hate crimes report revealing that hate crimes targeting Jewish, Black, and East and Southeast Asian populations remained the most commonly reported to police, representing 22 per cent, 18 per cent and 16 percent of all hate crimes, respectively.
Yesterday, hundreds of anti-Israel protestors gathered in Dundas Square. Video of the protest clearly shows participants both condoning the recent wave of terror in Israel, which has taken the lives of 14 Israelis, and calling for violence against the Jewish people and Israel.
