Crossing the River: The Fink Family Story

Distinguished filmmaker, Allan Novak (of Loving Spoonfulls fame), has created a loving tribute to his mother –and her siblings,  in the form of a 32-minute film titled “Crossing the River– the Fink Family Story.” The siblings, Anne Novak, Sally Singer, Ruth Zimmer, and Sol Fink, are the oldest Holocaust survivors who are siblings anywhere in the world.

The Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada supplied archival materials to Novak and is pleased to present the film.
