Yom Hashoah at the National Holocaust Monument 2025

 

This year, Yom HaShoah 2025 will pay tribute to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz Birkenau as well as a special presentation by the Ambassador of Greece, Her Excellency Ekaterina Dimakis. Mass murder of both Greek Jews and ethnic Greeks occurred during the Holocaust, the majority of whom died following deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp. By 1945, between 82 and 92 percent of Greek Jews had been murdered, one of the highest proportions in Europe.

Cette année, Yom HaShoah 2025 rendra hommage au 80e anniversaire de la libération d’Auschwitz Birkenau ainsi qu’une présentation spéciale de l’ambassadrice de Grèce, Son Excellence Ekaterina Dimakis. Pendant l'Holocauste, les Juifs grecs et les Grecs de souche ont été assassinés en masse, la majorité d'entre eux étant morts après avoir été déportés au camp de concentration d'Auschwitz.
