Toronto: Neuberger HEW 2025 | Opening Night: The Many Lives of Anne Frank

Join acclaimed author and literary critic Ruth Franklin in discussion with Heather Reisman, founder of Indigo Books & Music, as they explore Franklin’s new book, The Many Lives of Anne Frank. The Toronto Holocaust Museum presents an evening of powerful conversation and literary insight for this year’s Opening Night of Neuberger Holocaust Education Week.

The program will explore the enduring legacy of Anne Frank, examining how her story has been interpreted, politicized, and mythologized over time. In The Many Lives of Anne Frank, Franklin uncovers the layers behind the iconic diary, its multifaceted author, and its lasting global impact. Moderated by one of Canada’s most influential literary voices, this conversation invites critical reflection on memory, identity, and the power of storytelling.

Books available after the program, with an author signing.
