Kindness in Action: Tikkun Olam Day (Ottawa)

Join us for a heartwarming day of Tikkun Olum this Family Day! Gather your loved ones and take part in meaningful activities as we kick off Kindness Week with acts of giving, compassion, and community care.

In Jewish tradition, Tikkun Olam (Hebrew for repairing the world) is the responsibility to make the world a better place through acts of kindness and justice. This special event is an opportunity to live out that value, engaging in mitzvot (good deeds) that help strengthen and uplift our community.

Activities:

  • Card making or letter writing to Hillel Lodge residents
  • Soda bottle bird feeder
  • Planting a tree for Tu B’Shvat
  • Donate a non-perishable item to the Ottawa Kosher Food Bank
  • Kindness Rocks! (painting onto a small rock)
  • Kindness Tree (adding "leaves" with words of kindness)

Registration required here
Cost: $5 per family plus one kosher non-perishable item
We can’t wait to see you there and share in this wonderful experience together!
