G7 Leaders Cannot Let Iran Go Nuclear

“Over the past two days, families across Israel – from all backgrounds and faiths – have taken shelter as the Iranian regime launched a deadly barrage of missiles and drones at civilian centres. Many have been confirmed killed – including a mother and her two children – and hundreds more have been wounded.

“As Prime Minister Carney prepares to host world leaders at the G7 Summit at Kananaskis, democracies must unite to reaffirm Israel’s right to defend itself – and to act decisively against the threat of a nuclear-armed Iran.

“Iran’s current path leads to continued domestic repression, global terrorism, and direct threats to the safety of Canadians. The Iranian regime has already shown it will target innocents; nuclear weapons in its deadly arsenal would be catastrophic.”
