Exclusive Webinar: Iranian-Canadian Voices for Freedom

As we continue to follow events overseas, last night’s shooting incident at a synagogue in Toronto is an alarming reminder of the threat environment here in Canada.

At a time when Iran’s Islamic Regime poses a heightened danger to Jewish and Persian communities worldwide, it is crucial that we come together as Canadians to support one another. Our communities share strong bonds of friendship and hope for a brighter future, here in our country and throughout the Middle East.

At this critical moment, CIJA and Jewish Federations across Canada invite our entire community to hear from Iranian-Canadian voices for freedom.

RSVP

Please join us on Wednesday, March 4 at 7:30pm ET for insights and personal stories of resilience, the reality of life under the Islamic Regime, and the courage to create a brighter future for their people.

Featuring:

  • Nazanin Afshin-Jam, Award-winning Iranian-Canadian human rights and democracy advocate
  • Kaveh Shahrooz, Lawyer and Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute
  • Ghazal Shokri, Iranian-Canadian community leader and democracy advocate

This online discussion will also explore what meaningful allyship looks like and how we can stand alongside Iranian Canadians at this historic moment. You won’t want to miss this critical conversation.
