Community-Wide Oct 7th Memorial - Young Adults (Vancouver)

AXIS Vancouver invites you to join us for a Memorial Service in honour of the victims of October 7.

In this time of profound grief, we gather to mourn our losses and to hope for the safe return of the remaining hostages.

From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., we welcome young adults to a supportive and inclusive space for reflection and shared comfort. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The main ceremony, led by the Rabbinical Association of Vancouver (The RAV), will begin at 7:00 p.m.

A few gathering opportunities will become available to community members following the ceremony, including a "living room" gathering in both Hebrew and  English, and a traditional Hebrew quiet singing.

We look forward to coming together as a community on this painful day of mourning, reflection and hope.

Please note that enhanced security measures will be in place for everyone's safety. We kindly request that you leave any backpacks, bags, or purses at home as they will not be permitted at the event. We require the full name and email for each participant
