CIJA CEO Testimony to Senate Committee on Human Rights

On December 2, 2024, CIJA's President and CEO, Shimon Koffler Fogel, testified at the Senate Committee for Human Rights and Justice, outlining for the senate what most of us know all too well: the exponential rise in antisemitic hate crimes since October 7; the discovery of multiple terror plots to harm Jews; the unlawful and hateful demonstrations in Jewish neighbourhoods designed to intimidate and threaten Jewish residents; the celebrations of the October 7 massacre; and law enforcement's passive approach to charging perpetrators of hate.
