Canada must reject the ICC’s perversion of justice
Earlier this morning, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued warrants for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant.
By issuing arrest warrants against leaders of a country that is not a party to the ICC, the court has both made a mockery of international law and given solace to Hamas, Hezbollah — and, behind them, Iran — in their war efforts to exterminate Israel.
The ICC has not issued arrest warrants for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or any other Iranian official, Syrian President Bashar al Assad or any other Syrian official, or the genocidal General Secretary of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, or for any other Chinese official.
The ICC discredits itself by taking a biased, anti-Israel stance, claiming that the alleged crimes date back to as early as October 8, 2023 – the day of mourning in Israel following Hamas’ attacks. The ICC further takes a specious “both sides” position by issuing a warrant for a Hamas official – one who is generally considered to have been killed in July.
These warrants undermine the legitimacy of international law by exploiting it as a tool to benefit those who want to erase the land of Israel and the Jewish people off the map.
Canada has always championed fairness and the rule of law on the global stage. We cannot stand by while deep-rooted biases within the ICC degrade these principles and fuel antisemitism.
Write to your Member of Parliament and tell them that Canada must reject this perversion of international law unequivocally and reaffirm its commitment to impartial justice.
Thank you for standing with us.

As a constituent in your riding, I am deeply troubled by Canada’s decision to immediately endorse the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) move to issue arrest warrants against Israeli government officials. This endorsement reinforces a system riddled with antisemitism that perverts international law and principles of justice.
By targeting democratically elected leaders of Israel – the only democracy in the Middle East, and a country that is not a party to the ICC – the Court has both made a mockery of international law and emboldened Hamas, Hezbollah, and their backer, Iran in their war annihilate Israel. These warrants serve those who seek to erase the Land of Israel and wipe the Jewish people off the map.
Further proof of their hypocrisy and bias, the ICC has failed to issued arrest warrants against notorious authoritarian leaders such as Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, or the People’s Republic of China’s genocidal General Secretary, Xi Jinping —individuals responsible for egregious human rights violations.
To uphold Canada’s values of justice and fairness, it is imperative that Canada unequivocally rejects this misuse of international law and forcefully reaffirm its commitment to impartial justice.
I urge you to support Canada’s Jewish community by:
• Publicly condemning the ICC’s discriminatory bias against Israel.
• Demanding that Canada reaffirm its unwavering support for Israel.
• Advocating for the immediate release of the 101 hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza.
