“CIJA has repeatedly said that the illegal and anti-Semitic encampment in Victoria Square, in downtown Montreal, should never have been left in place,” they stated. “This type of sordid convergence of radicals and anarchists intimidates all citizens of our city. All of this contributes to erasing the Jewish fact from Montreal and making antisemitism endemic throughout Quebec.”CIJA added that “now that this hateful installation has been dismantled, that of McGill University must follow. CIJA therefore invites municipal authorities to finish the work to restore PEACE, LAW and ORDER in our streets.”
