2025 IHRD Commemoration at the National Holocaust Monument
The commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa will start at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, January 27.
Today, we honour the memory of the six million Jews and millions of others murdered by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, and the Survivors who rebuilt their lives.
The one hour event streaming from the National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa will commemorate the victims of the Holocaust, and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Speakers include Holocaust Survivors, Jewish community leaders, and diplomatic and political representatives.
The event is hosted by the National Holocaust Monument Committee, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa, CIJA, and other Jewish Canadian organizations.
