The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) expressed outrage about the Trudeau government's decision to halt its "pause" and begin funding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) again.Other nations, including Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Estonia, Switzerland, Japan, Finland, Iceland, the European Commission and Australia halted funding to UNRWA this past January in light of the involvement of UNRWA employees in the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.
