Shimon Koffler Fogel, president and CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, called on the federal government to seek out longer-term alternatives to UNWRA in providing aid to Gaza.

“It is now clear to all that the problems within UNRWA are deep, systemic, and organization-wide — it must now be equally clear that establishing an alternative is essential,” Fogel said.
