TDSB Trustee Lulka Vindicated Social Graphic

Noah Shack, CIJA Vice President, spoke with The Canadian Jewish News following the vindication of Trustee Lulka at last week’s TDSB meeting.

CIJA Meets with Foreign Minister Joly

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with CIJA at her first formal stakeholder meeting where she discussed community concerns, including the alarming rise of antisemitism in Canada and elsewhere, the importance of Holocaust education, and Iran. CIJA will continue to work with Minister Joly on these important issues.

We extended thanks for the re-appointment of the Honourable Irwin Cotler as Canada’s Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism. The Minister affirmed support for both Canada’s Jewish community and the people and land of Israel.
