The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) said that it was briefed by the RCMP. “We were reassured by Canadian authorities that the individual was under surveillance while in Canada and did not pose a threat to the Canadian Jewish community. We are grateful for the diligent work of Public Safety Canada, the RCMP and CSIS for keeping our community safe.”
