Last week, you joined more than 11,000 Canadians in calling on the federal government to hold the leadership of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights accountable over its controversial Nakba exhibit.

Today, that pressure produced results.

Your voice made an impact!

In a public interview, Heritage Minister Marc Miller rebuked the Museum's leadership, saying there was “an error in governance.” He also criticized key aspects of the curation, including the whitewashing of Hamas and the failure to clearly inform audiences that "Hamas intended to kill Jews."

He said these issues must be rectified.

This is an important milestone—but our work isn't finished.

We'll continue holding decision makers accountable until words become action and Canadians can once again trust that this national institution is living up to its mandate.

For today, though, you should know this:

Your voice mattered. Your advocacy made a difference. And together, we're proving that engaged Canadians can drive change.

Thank you for standing with us.

With gratitude,

CIJA
