Demand the withdrawal or rejection of Projet Montréal's incendiary declaration at the August 24th Montreal City Council meeting!
Last June, thousands of Montrealers made their voices heard and played a major role in preventing the adoption of Projet Montréal’s divisive and inflammatory BDS motion. The same motion is set to come back on August 24th and city councillors will have a choice: to put Montrealers first or support the toxic agenda of Projet Montréal.
While Montrealers are rightly concerned about local issues that matter like the economy, homelessness, rent prices, traffic, public infrastructure and safety, Projet Montréal seems more focused on sowing division and importing a foreign conflict into municipal politics – all of which distract our City Council from doing the job it was elected to do.
In a climate that is already toxic, including arson attacks on synagogue, the hanging of a Jewish effigy in our streets, and violent assaults on community members, this declaration only adds fuel to the fire.
Now is your chance to speak up again. The safety of all Montrealers must take precedence over the dangerous agenda of radical fringe groups.
