CIJA joins all Canadians in honouring the lives of the more than 22,000 victims of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada

Mar 11, 2021 | Publications, Statement, Uncategorized

The Government of Canada has declared March 11 a National Day of Observance for COVID-19. On this solemn day, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs joins all Canadians in honouring the lives of the more than 22,000 victims of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. May their memory continue to be a blessing to their loved ones.

As we start the second year of this pandemic, it is more important now than ever to stay the course and remain vigilant so that we may see an end to this dreadful virus in the near future.
