Newman’s speech was “lamentable” and exacerbated the “chronic pain” of the Jewish community, said Gustavo Zentner, vice president Manitoba and Saskatchewan of The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. He said Newman, in his future medical practice, will be responsible for bringing healing to peoples’ diverse health problems.
