The only ones causing any problems for the people of Gaza is Hamas, Fatah, Hizbullah, and the other terrorist groups. It is just that simple!

The U.N., Amnesty International, along with independent reporters, doctors, and volunteers, have all echoed the same truth: Israel's blockade of Gaza is causing a humanitarian crisis. Even the International Committee of the Red Cross, which prefers to remain neutral on political issues, has offered condemnation against Israel's blockade. Some facts:
-According to Amnesty International, 90-95% of the water in Gaza is unfit for drinking. There is one water plant in all of the Gaza strip, since the rest were destroyed by IDF in Operation Cast Lead.
- The Food and Agriculture Org and World Food Program have recorded stunted growth rates of children, a sign of chronic malnutrition.
But it goes beyond Israel simply letting in even 1/4 of supplies and a fraction of what is needed. The blockade means that Gazans can't fish off the coast, more than a few km out to sea. They can't trade with nearby regions and states. Operation Cast Lead destroyed factories, water purification plants, over five-thousand acres of aerable land, and thousands of olive and citrus trees.
Gaza is a prison. The myth this article purports must end now. The lies must stop.

I don't know if you respect the efforts of GISHA : Legal Center for Freedom of Movement. It is supposedly an Israeli human rights organization. It seems to have different "facts" on the Israeli occupation and "block-AID" of the territory of Gaza.
According to an article posted 15 Nov 2010 Gisha was able to legally force the Israeli government to release documents on Israeli policy on the recent Gaza seige. The article states:
"In 2007, when Israel began its full siege on Gaza, Dov Weisglass, adviser to then Prime-Minister Ehud Olmert, stated clearly, “The idea is to put the Palestinians on a diet, but not to make them die of hunger.” The documents now released contain equations used by the Israeli government to calculate the exact amounts of food, fuel and other necessities needed to do exactly that."
The article goes on to say:
"This release of documents also severely undermines Israel’s oft-made claim that the siege is “for security reasons”, as it documents a deliberate and systematic policy of collective punishment of the entire population of Gaza."
I'm a relative newbie to this conflict. But in reading your article "Facts Beyond the Spin: Israel Delivers Massive Aid to Gaza" June 2, 2010, I was wondering if perhaps you have been receiving some Israel government spin. And unintentially feeding it to your readers.
Here is the link: <a href="http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=21799" rel="nofollow">http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=21799</a>
In most wars or even "military conflicts" convincing your own people that government actions are just if not entirely right is 90% of the battle. Even if it means "stretching" the truth to where it is almost believable. I hope I'm wrong. Mazel Tov.

@ Major LeeHi
Please tell me - what country is Israel occupying? To be an occupied country, there must have been a country to be occupied. The West Bank used to be Jordan, the Golan Heights were part of Syria, and Gaza was part of Egypt - all three areas were conquered territory during the Six-Day War, in which these three countries were the aggressors. None of these countries has made any form of petition to get its former territory back (they would be laughed out of any international court if they did). So what country is Israel occupying? What's that? "Palestine", you say? OOPS - there has never been such a country.
In addition - you claim that only about 1/4 of the need is filled by this humanitarian aid - got any documentation of that? It would seem like we should be seeing reports of that 50 - 75% of the population that is dying of malnutrition if that were truly the case - would Hamas have to manufacture "atrocities" like Al-Dura if that were the case?

[...] They came to power 2006 after ousting the previous Fatah party. Now Fatah are no angels, but Hamas are such a bunch of cocksuckers that even other Arab countries don’t want to deal with them. They only really have two goals; to literally wipe Israel off the map and replace it with an Islamic state. They only way they see clear to achieving this is through violence (read their charter here). Hamas is famous for doing things like killing other Palestinians over who gets to kill Jews, blowing themselves up in and around some of Israel’s finer dining establishments, using children as soldiers and asking Palestinian civilians (including children) to stand around buildings that Israel warned will soon will be bombed by it’s air force. Oh, they also produce awesome kids TV. After the goods reached Israel, they successfully prevented some of items aboard the Gaza Freedom Flotilla from being distributed speedily to the Palestinian people because of a few retarded demands. So what about that Gaza blockade? As you hopefully know, Gaza also shares a border with Egypt, one that is also CLOSED. The Egyptians may be Muslims, but they’re no fools as they know exactly which types of explosive commodities would find their way even more easily across the border. Oh, and eh.. what humanitarian crisis? [...]
