Heather Fenyes

Heather Fenyes is President of Congregation Agudas Israel Synagogue in Saskatoon and an active volunteer within the Saskatoon Jewish and general community.   With a B.A and a B.Ed. she has taught in an after-school Hebrew school program for 30 years.   She is involved with multi-faith work in Saskatoon and co-founded a Muslim-Jewish organization called Salam Ha’Bai’t.  She speaks on behalf of the Saskatoon Jewish community and about Judaism in general to classrooms from pre-school to post secondary.   Heather received the Gerry Rose Volunteer Award in recognition of her efforts within the Jewish community. She and her husband Leslie are the parents of three children who carry their spirit of volunteerism and commitment to Judaism and Israel.
