Ed Morgan

Ed Morgan is a Professor of Law and member of the Ontario Bar since 1988, with law degrees from the University of Toronto and Harvard Law School. He practices in the field of litigation, focusing on civil, administrative, and criminal litigation and teaches in the fields of civil procedure, constitutional law, and international law. He was a law clerk to Madam Justice Bertha Wilson of the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to teaching he practiced litigation at Davies, Ward & Beck in Toronto. He has written numerous published pieces dealing with procedures in the Canadian courts and international and constitutional law issues. Professor Morgan has appeared at all levels of Canadian courts, including the Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia courts and the Federal Court of Canada and provided expert evidence on international law to U.S. federal and state courts. He has represented many public interest groups in constitutional cases across Canada, and has appeared numerous times at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Professor Morgan’s volunteer work includes stints both as Legal Counsel and President of Canadian Jewish Congress as well as member of the Board of CIJA (Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy).
