Michaels writes: “The Sept. 18 National Post gave Livni’s win scant attention in a 100-word Agence France-Presse piece titled ‘Israeli Foreign Minister new Kadima leader.’ In contrast, the Sept. 18 Globe and Mail ran ‘Livni enters eye of Israel’s political storm’ by Mark MacKinnon on its front page – a page otherwise dominated by the Canadian federal election and the continuing financial crisis on Wall Street.”
