Manitobans to Learn from Israeli Water Management

On the new blog Canada’s Israel, Lauren Kramer reports on a recent visit to Israel by Manitoba’s Minister of Water Stewardship Christine Melnick, to study various water management projects.

Melnick was particularly impressed by the fact that Israel has been able to “defeat the exact same type of algae that we’re struggling to overcome in Manitoba,”  specifically, “the algoblooms that plague Lake Winnipeg, the province’s largest body of water.”
