BBC News Goes Inside Lebanese Hezbollah Militia
The BBC website recently posted an exclusive interview with a Hezbollah “militant” who makes it crystal clear that governments, like Britain’s, who think they can deal with the movement’s purely political wing are fooling themselves.
The Hezbollah source is quoted as saying:Â “We have two arms, but we belong to one body. There is no such things as the military wing or the political wing of Hezbollah – we are all part of one resistance.”
At least for now – he adds:Â “Hezbollah will become a purely political party only when Israel ceases to exist.”
