Tweet Your Prayers to the Western Wall

Here’s a new way to use the popular micro-blogging site Twitter:  send your prayers to Jerusalem to be placed in the Western Wall.

The project was founded by Tel Aviv university student Alon Nir. In the CBC radio interview below, Nir says he was inspired by the Iranians who used Twitter to protest their election results. Since launching, Nir has been inundated with prayers from around the world.

You too can tweet your prayer by following www.twitter.com/TheKotel – and while you’re on Twitter, be sure to follow the CIC – www.twitter.com/CanIsrael.
