Mezuza in Space

The Jerusalem Post reports that Canadian Jewish astronaut Greg Chamitoff plans to affix a mezuza to the doorpost of his room on the shuttle Discovery to “serve as constant reminders of his home and his Jewish identity during his six-month sojourn.” Chamitoff will serve as flight engineer and science officer on Expedition 17, his first space flight.  You can read the full Post piece by clicking here.
