Cats and dogs can live together, according to a new study of 200 pet-owning households by Joseph Terkel, a zoology professor at Tel Aviv University. The key to interspecies harmony is to adopt a cat before a dog, and to introduce the two animals early in life – younger than six months for kittens, a year for puppies.  Read more about the study in the Globe and Mail, and in a Tel Aviv University news release.
