According to Reports: Israel Not Blamed in Intra-Palestinian Torture
In his weekly Canadian Jewish News media analysis column “According to Reports,†Paul Michaels, CIC Director of Communications, looked at recent reports by NGOs that Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah torture their prisoners.
Writes Michaels: “What was especially noteworthy in the coverage was the absence of any mention of Israel or reference to ‘the occupation.’ The media remained focused on internal Palestinian affairs.”
